  1. Conductance of electrical connections of the various compartments of the IB cell. Although electrical coupling is two-way, each direction is considered separately in the model, having a source and a target. Each unidirectional electrical connection is included as a summand in the term \(I_{el}\) of the target compartment. Conductance of connections in the opposite direction may differ, reflecting differences in the size of the two compartments. All values are taken from [12]. s: soma, \(d_{a}\): apical dendrite, \(d_{b}\): basal dendrite, a: axon.
