For each model neuron, the applied current was fixed at a value which yielded stable periodic solutions for all \(g_{M}\) in the given range, then the frequency of the periodic solution was plotted against \(g_{M}\). The blue dashed lines show the \(g_{M}\) values corresponding to the BT and CP points. The green dashed line shows the \(g_{M}\) value where the change in synchronisation occurs for the coupled neurons in Fig. 13
